By now you should know that I can’t resist a glam adventure. You know, getting dolled up and setting out for an afternoon of fun. And having a few friends tag along makes it even more special. But as important as the journey is, for me the destination is what makes it all worthwhile. So when I’m up for an afternoon of adventuring I head over to one of my favorite places, the Swan Coach House. The stunning backdrop is enough to fall in love, and when you enter the gorgeous garden grounds, you become completely smitten! The Swan Coach House is one of my go-to’s for girly gatherings, so for a recent afternoon tea outing with my gal pals, it was necessary to ride in a fun vehicle to make the trip even more fabulous.
Enter the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.
I had the opportunity to test drive this adorable SUV to our tea time, and it was the perfect vehicle for the job! I know that when I’m on the lookout for a car, one of the first things on the list is practicality. Little sports cars are nice and all, but when I roll with an entourage I prefer a bigger vehicle to handle the job. The Outlander blends a sense of adventure along with practical features like great MPG and affordability — two very important assets! It also gets a surprising 24 miles to the gallon (31 for the highway), and for the low price ($19,595 starting), you get all kinds of swanky features you wouldn’t expect.
When I needed to let the girls know I was on the way, all I had to do was tap one button on the FUSE Handsfree Link System and call via Bluetooth voice command. You could also play music using the system, which was a cool way to DJ the ride, especially with the kickin’ Premium Rockford Fosgate Sound System, which has 9 speakers throughout the cabin, including a bass-bumping subwoofer — perfect for pumping out my fave 80’s hits! Other fab features include a leather wrapped steering wheel, 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, and a Panoramic Glass Roof that let the sun shine in on a picture perfect day! 😉
Another thing I really liked about the Outlander was its touchscreen navigation system — the maps were in 3D and they even had speed limits and real-time traffic updates to get me to my destination on time and with no stress. Not to mention its impressive ability to “get-up-and-go,” — no wimpy acceleration here! Using the nav system was a lot safer than trying to use the map on my phone, like a lot of people tend to do. Speaking of safety, I enjoyed learning that this vehicle also has Active Stability Control, which means the tire grips are constantly monitored by sensors, and if they slip, it automatically helps you maneuver the car. This is a very useful feature on a rainy day when the roads get a little too slick to handle.
Needless to say, the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport was the ideal choice to take on this little adventure of mine — it was too bad I had to give it back! 😉 I could’ve easily kept cruising around in this fun SUV for many more outings to come. A girl can only dream…
Hey, if you’re looking for a fun, fearless, and sassy little SUV with lots of spunk, the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is the perfect pick that will have your entourage begging you to “come, pick me up!” 😉
Disclaimer: Mitsubishi Motors and Drive Shop USA provided me with a vehicle to test drive, however all opinions are my own.

That sounds like a really sweet ride. My father has always had Mitsubishis and has always been a big fan of their cars.
Amazing how much you get for so little in this very zippy looking vehicle. I love the hands free Fuse you mentioned as well as the 3D directions. Boy, do l need that! I would consider this Outlander. Mitsubishi makes awesome products.. (TVS! especially) 🙂
That’s a seriously pretty car! It’s so sleek and I love the interior, too. I can’t believe it’s under $20,000 – that’s a pretty affordable price!
Such a beautiful color! I love that the maps are in 3-D and how easy it is to navigate. It definitely has a little sass and a whole lot of spunk. Love it!

That looks like a really fun car! I test-drove some Mistubishi cars before and they were all really nice.
Cute cat! Looks like you enjoyed tea time too.
This sounds like a great car packed with so many wonderful features. I have heard good things about Mitsubishi although we’ve never owned one personally.
That sounds like an absolutely awesome car that works well for your life style. I have never driven a Mistsubishi before but I will definitely jump on the next offer I get.
This sounds like an awesome car! I need something bigger for sure and I love that although this is an SUV, it still looks sporty. Would you believe I’ve never been to the Swan Coach House and I’ve lived in Atlanta (basically) my whole life?! I definitely need to check it out!

It looks like you had a fabulous time and you look gorgeous in that outfit. The 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is indeed a gorgeous car. I love how the dash looks with how it is set up and the gas mileage is not bad either.
I was able to test drive the outlander sport in the winter and it was really good for the snowstorm we had in NYC. I’m looking into purchase a mid sized SUV now.
