2017 Mitsubishi Outlander: An Adventure Waiting to Happen

Special moments call for special transportation. And while the hubby and I couldn’t snag a chauffeur for our anniversary adventures, we got the next best thing: a test-drive with the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander.

And let me tell you: we were riding in style! You know how they say “the journey is half the fun”… Well, I’d have to agree whole-heartedly! With the awesome features the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander has, we almost didn’t want to get out of this baby… even after we arrived at our destinations (almost!).

Fab Features Ahead

What had us loving this vehicle so much, you ask? Well, with me being the social butterfly that I am, I was completely smitten with the Android/Apple Auto, which synced to my phone making it easy to stay connected on social media and play my favorite jams. And no adventure is complete without a good soundtrack, and this car had an awesome Rockford Fosgate® Sound System throughout that pumped my playlist with ease.

Lemme tell ya, the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander is more than impressive. It features a host of safety features that help keep your adventuring on track and drama free. Take for instance the Rear Cross Traffic Alert and a Multi-view Camera System that gives you a 360 degree peek around the vehicle to catch any sneaky objects in your way. It even has a bird’s eye camera view so you can see how fab you look from above. 😉 It also features Blind Spot Warning, Forward Collision Detection, and Lane Change Assist to keep even the most distracted drivers in check. Fab-U-Lust!

I know what you’re thinking… With all these fab features this baby must fetch a kings ransom. Nope. Starting at a manageable $23,495 MSRP, this fund-friendly SUV won’t budge the budget a bit. And, with an MPG of 25 city/30 hwy you’ll save plenty-a-penny on petro to push past those pesky pit stops at the pump. 😛

I also reeeally enjoyed the sunroof. I think sunroofs are a great addition to SUVs like this one because they make the vehicle feel a lot more roomy, fun and adventurous, and you get to enjoy lots of fresh air without messing up your hair! The Outlander also features three rows of seating that comfortably seat 7 passengers, so I knew I’d have had no problem fitting my full sized family inside. Luckily, though, the hubby and I were away on our own little adventure this time around, so our three kids teens sadly sat this one out. [Cue sad face… No, wait… Happy times ahead!]

With premium leather interior and an exterior just as sleek, I felt like I had some wonderful treatment for our anniversary adventures. Something as simple as luxe seating can sure make a girl feel on top of the world!

There were so many other fabulous safety features that ensured we made it to our reservations untouched and on time, and for that, I am extremely grateful! You really can’t put a price tag on a safe ride, no matter how fancy your wheels are. Don’t you agree?

Let the Celebrations Begin!

From a wine tasting at the fabulous Chateau Elan Winery & Resort to lunch high atop The Sun Dial Restaurant at the Westin Atlanta then off to the Studio Movie Grill to catch the latest flick, there’s no adventuring that the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander can’t handle. Not only did I get to arrive in style, I had my partner in crime with me. I thought the day couldn’t get any better. That is, until I sunk my teeth into the tasty offerings from Sun Dial. And let’s not forget the celebratory sips at Chateau Elan!
