It’s the hautest time of year again! We just celebrated our 4th Annual Little Blue Box Brunch, one of the most highly anticipated events on my social calendar, and it was spectacular! If you haven’t heard of the Little Blue Box Brunch, well, let’s just say you’re missing out on a treat. Each May, lots of lovely ladies get all glammed up in pearls and pretty things, absorb amazing words of encouragement, and win some truly covetable prizes! Oh, and we get to sip tasty mimosas, too! 😉
I’ve told you all how much I love Swan Coach House, and that love hasn’t faded. So for our “fabulous fourth” LBBB event, it was only fitting to host it at the lovely Swan Coach House, again! I mean, this place is absolutely gorgeous! The beautiful backdrop and lush landscapes provided the perfect setting for another amazing affair. The stunning terrace area was the ideal place for plenty of mixing and mingling (powered by mimosas, of course) before the event got going. Guests also got to nosh on some of the most decadent doughnuts this side of Heaven courtesy of Bon Glaze.
During the Mimosa Mix & Mingle, the ladies got a little camera time courtesy of our social media correspondent, the uber-fab Ms. Nikki Nikole who interviewed guests as they sipped, shopped, and socialized. And there was plenty shopping to get to. Fabulous vintage finds were available for purchase by Diva Xpress, along with gorgeous gifts by India Hicks Ambassador & Founding Member IH London Harbour Island, Perrie Tucker. And let me tell ya, this was just a taste of all the glam to come. The prizes up for grabs at this year’s Little Blue Box Brunch were valued at over $6,000 thanks to our fabulous sponsors, so — needless to say — the terrace was buzzing with excitement as the event headed underway. As guests entered the room they were awed by enchanting tablescapes and perfectly appointed gift bags by our wonderfully generous sponsors.
Our host for the day was the beautiful and charismatic Chenese Lewis, who kept everyone smiling and engaged in between special guests and giveaways. And we didn’t waist any time giving those giveaways away! One of the most fun giveaways went to the Most Social Divas, where brunch guests would hashtag #LittleBlueBoxBrunch on everything they posted for a chance to win a fabulous gift. Being social has its rewards, and trust me, you wanted to be these winners. 😀
All of our special speakers shared invaluable gems of wisdom and information pertaining to beauty on the inside out. When it came to inner beauty, the always-empowering Toni Preyer of Toni Preyer, Inc. shared her insight on being a “Mom-preneur” and how she navigates her successes. Our other girl-boss keynote speaker, Dana “Mama Doll” Hill, the CEO and Founder of The Black Doll Affair, was as charismatic and inspiring as they come! Dana’s story of triumph and self-love is such an inspiration to women and young girls and we were so excited to have her organization be our sponsorship recipient for 2016. Our special guest speaker was the Brow Architect, Joi Mebane! Her collection, The LOOK by Joi, has all you could want in lust-worthy lashes and unbeatable brows. What woman doesn’t love a little insider info on getting “the look.” All of the speakers were absolutely amazing, instilling confidence, sharing their lifes’ experience, and inspiring guests with coveted advice.
We were overwhelmed with amazing support from our sponsors this year, who made all of this possible! We were so thrilled to be able to give away some goodies that every woman in the room surely wanted to take home, thanks to our Diamond Sponsor, Nordstrom. Several lucky ladies took home fabulous beauty essentials including a MAC eyeshadow pallette valued at $100, a beauty pack full of fabulous products valued at $260, and a $250 gift card for an unforgettable beauty experience with a Nordstrom Beauty Expert Stylist! Nordstrom also gifted wonderful beauty products to our seated guests — *gasp and faint — Thank you, Nordstrom!!!
Another of our flagship sponsors, L’Occitane, gifted away their award-winning Divine Creme, valued at $110, that one lucky lady got to take home! I was soo jealous… 😀 Also for our seated guests were oh-so-stylish accessories from Kendra Scott (that I absolutely A-D-O-R-E) and lust-worthy lingerie from Livi Rae. We so appreciate both of you for your fab gifts to our guests! Another big thank you goes to Perrie Tucker of India Hicks for the wonderful giveaway prize and overall support. A special thank you goes out to Painting with a Twist Buckhead, who gifted several winners with a free paint-and-sip class and a lovely painting. And we were also overjoyed to giveaway an absolutely stunning Kate Spade handbag valued at $325 to one lucky diva! (Jealous, again…) 😛
But no Little Blue Box Brunch would be complete without some little (or big) blue boxes to give away! That’s right… It was Tiffany Time and everyone was so excited to see what was in those big blue boxes! It’s true that every girl deserves a gift from Tiffany & Co., and I couldn’t wait to see who would walk away with one of those coveted blue bags. Remember I told you that being social has its rewards? Well, two Tiffany boxes were given to the Most Social Divas of the day — Hey, hashtagging has perks! 😉 But, the most coveted gift of the day went to our Most Glam guest, whose style and beauty captured the essence of the Little Blue Box Brunch. And, get this… It was her FIRST Tiffany gift, ever! Whooot!!!!
All of our lovely guests looked absolutely amazing in their black dresses and pearls… It was truly a sight to see! And speaking of which, we couldn’t end the day without a few pics of everyone rocking their fabulous frames from Retro City Sunglasses who gifted all of us with funky sunnies for the summer. We ended this successful Little Blue Box Brunch affair in true fashion with a glam group snap.
I am so happy and thankful that this year’s LBBB went so wonderfully, and it couldn’t have been nearly as fabulous if it weren’t for our gorgeous guests, amazing speakers, and generous sponsors! And special thanks to Swan Coach House for providing the perfect setting for this magical affair!
My heart was overflowing with joy to see so many lovely women coming together to celebrate each other. The truth is that we all share a common bond in our womanhood. No matter color, no matter class… We are ALL connected. My vision for Little Blue Box was to bring women together to support one another; to share, to connect. Over a few sips of course! I don’t know about you, but I’m already looking forward to next year!

What an amazing event and you’re right, every girl loves Tiffany. When my daughter turned 16th I bought her, her very first Tiffany jewelry and continued right up until she turned 19 to complete a set, (bracelet, earrings, necklace, ring), it was expensive but just to see her face on her big day was worth it.
