For those of you who know me, you know that I’m a big fan of Bonefish Grill! No matter where I am, I always seem to find one. I’ve had many an amazing time at Bonefish in The Woodlands TX, and several lunch dates at their Alpharetta spot, so I’m super excited to announce that they just opened a new location at Akers Mill Square in Atlanta, which just so happens to be a stones throw from the new soon-to-open SunTrust Park.
Lucky for me I got to attend a private media tasting for BFG’s newest location and I must say, they keep the ambiance consistent! It still had those romantic, classy vibes I love so much about the other locations.
Hand-crafted Sips
One of the highlights of the night was the brand new, limited-time cocktail they served up. It’s a handcrafted sip, so you know it was delicious. Not to mention light and refreshing! It’s called the Pomegranate Sage Martini, and the sage is the perfect ingredient you never knew a cocktail needed. This sip is served in a frozen martini glass and combines Reyka small-batch vodka, fresh sage, simple syrup, POM pomegranate juice, Cointreau, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and bitters. If this doesn’t sound like the most scrumptious spring/summer drink ever, I don’t know what does! I loved how balanced the flavors were.
The only catch is you’ve got to act fast on this tasty drink–it’s available at Bonefish Grill from now until May 1!
Four Courses of Heaven
As for the eats, I got to indulge in a delicious four-course meal complete with some of BFG’s hand-crafted cocktails to compliment each dish. Spoil me rotten why don’t cha! 😛
I started off with Ahi Tuna Sashimi, which is always a welcome treat, and it was served alongside a yummy Peach Bellini. If you’ve never had a Bellini, you need to check your priorities–these things are so good! Next up was one of my favorites–the Bang Bang Shrimp–which was delightfully crispy and tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce as the perfect complement. To stick with the seafood, I also tried the Saucy Shrimp, which is sauteed and served in lime tomato garlic sauce with Kalamata olives and topped with Feta cheese for a unique Greek spin on a casual dish.
After the seafood, I got some greens in with the House Salad which featured hearts of palm, Kalamata olives, tomatoes, and a zesty citrus herb vinaigrette. Oh, and a delicious White Sangria to seal the meal! Yum.
Next, it was time for the main event… another one of my favorites, Lobster Stuffed Shrimp! This dish features six jumbo shrimp stuffed with lobster, red peppers, and lemon butter, served on top of creamed spinach. It was so deelish! I was treated to an Wild Orchid Hawaiian Martini with this meal, which was an island-style cocktail garnished with an edible orchid. Edible flowers are almost too pretty to eat… almost. 😉
Lastly, the dessert, of course! I had the Macadamia Nut Brownie which is a flourless brownie drizzled with delectable raspberry sauce and paired with vanilla ice cream sprinkled with macadamia nuts. A little different than your average dessert, this brownie was a welcome treat! Plus, I got to wash it down with the Pomegranate Sage Martini I was raving about.
Needless to say, I’m so happy they opened up this new Bonefish Grill location, which as coincidences have it, is super close to me. I know I’ll definitely be planning lots of lunch dates here, and they will have to be sooner rather than later so that I don’t miss out on too many Pomegranate Sage Martinis before they go bye bye in May. 🙂
Hey, if you’re ever in the Akers Mill area of Atlanta near Cumberland/Galleria be sure to stop by Bonefish Grill’s newest digs at 2997 Cobb Pkwy SE in Atlanta.
I was compensated a yummy meal in exchange for my opinion, however all drooling is my own. 😛

Bonefish Grill is one of my husband’s favorite places to eat. I love the Bang Bang shrimp. All of their food is delicious.
Since we don’t have one of these close to us and I won’t be going to Atlanta anytime soon I will just have to enjoy your photos of all the great drinks and food.
Living in Louisiana for 5 years, I learned to love cajun type foods. Everything has rice and seafood in it. This looks amazing!
We have one of these restaurants close to my house and I have not gone to it yet. Now I’m asking myself why! This looks delicious. I will definitely have to check it out.
Sweet! Bonefish Grill is a great restaurant, so I’m always happy to hear that it’s expanding to new areas.

Everything looks so amazing. I have never been to one before, but I would love to. The drinks look so fancy. I think we have one in Chicago I will have to check out their locations.
We just love Bonefish Grill. Their fish is always so fresh and flavorful. But I must admit that my absolute favorite part is the cocktails!
I have only eaten at Bonefish Grill once, but it was really tasty. I would not mind seeing one of these go in closer to where I live. I would probably spend a lot of time there.
This reminds me that I’ve not been to Bonefish in a long time. I love the bang-bang shrimp and I clearly need to try the cocktails.
