Are you ready for some football burgers!
Many of us fashion fanatics know September to be the mother of all months–fashion month. But seemingly for the guys, September is better known as the kickoff to another season of football! It’s that time of year to break out the gameday gear, invite a few friends over to cheer your fave team to victory, and indulge in some football-fueled fixins. I mean, what else is football season for?! 😉 With that being said, I can’t wait to help the hubby fire up the grill and whip up some amazing burgers inspired by our recent visit to BurgerFi in Alpharetta Georgia. Here’s the play-by-play on how we scored a tasting touchdown of some of the most delicious burgers this side of the end zone.
The Score
Now, if you’re like me you can appreciate a great patty. Well, let me tell ya; BurgerFi Alpharetta not only serves up a tasty collection of hand-crafted burgers, but they do so with the environment in mind. Now that’s what I call eco-fabulous! We were immensely impressed by this joint’s food quality–they use All Natural fresh ingredients in their offerings and you can definitely tell the difference in taste. To “kick off” our dining experience we sampled the Breakfast All Day Burger which features a Natural Angus beef patty, top with American cheese, yummy bacon, maple syrup, a fried egg, hash brown, and grilled onions. And if that wasn’t mouthwatering enough, their hand-cut fries added extra points to the meal. Blow the whistle and throw a yellow flag cause it should be a penalty that this burger is so deelish!!!
Next up was the CEO Burger, and It. Was. Uh-mazing! Seriously, my husband claims it was the best he’d ever tasted! The CEO Burger is made of two Wagyu and brisket blend beef patties, layered with aged Swiss and topped with homemade candied bacon-tomato jam. To bring the flavors full-circle was a garlic truffle aioli sauce, and boy, was it heavenly. The combination of choice ingredients made for a flavor-filled highlight reel that had my taste-buds doing a touchdown dance after each bite. 😛 This burger is definitely Boss, and the side of onion rings were the perfect compliment to this championship-caliber meal. You can even go green and substitute the bun of any BurgerFi burger with crisp, fresh hand-cut lettuce.
As we enjoyed our delicious, hormone and antibiotic-free burgers, I also couldn’t help but be intrigued by the decor. Upon asking, it turns out the BurgerFi decor has all kinds of fun and interesting tidbits…
- Picnic and four-top tables are made from over 700,000 upcycled milk jugs
- Industrial-style chairs with select red chairs made of 111 upcycled Coca-Cola bottles
- Wood panel walls that are made from renewable timber
- Two sleek 10-ft ceiling fans that use 88% less energy
- 100% recycled paper countertops
- 100% energy efficient LED lighting
- Repurposed meat hooks are used in the lighting fixtures
It was refreshing to know that this eatery is environmentally conscious with it’s food as well as the decor. Talk about a win-win! 🙂
For the Win…
Between their outstanding burgers and eco-friendly furnishings, BurgerFi Alpharetta is ranked high on my list of favorite eateries around town. They even gave me their “Breakfast All Day” burger recipe to wow my football watch-party guests with. Whooo-hooo!!! Here’s the playbook on how to make your own patty the highlight at your next gridiron-inspired gathering.
Ingredients:
4 potato burger buns
4 4-oz beef patties
4 3-oz hash brown patties
4 slices thick-cut bacon
4 eggs
2 tbsp butter
1 cup diced onions
4 tbsp ketchup
4 tsp maple syrup
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Cook bacon until crisp, save the fat.
2. Caramelize onions in leftover bacon fat.
3. Cook burgers to desired temp. And top with favorite cheese.
4. Fry your hash brown until golden brown and crispy.
5. Cook egg in 1 tbsp butter for 2-3 minutes on each side for soft-medium yolk.
6. Melt remaining butter on buns to toast to dark golden brown.
Order to build the burger:
Bun top
Bacon strips drizzled in syrup
Egg
Cheeseburger
Hash brown
Caramelized onions
Ketchup on top and bottom of bun
Bun bottom
Hey, if you wanna score some of the best burgers in town, don’t “fumble” around with ordinary fast food. Head over to BurgerFi in Alpharetta for freshly-made fixins that’ll have you “running back” for another bite (or four). 😛 Chef James and the team have created something special over at BurgerFi Alpharetta and I’m definitely heading back to “tackle” another taste of that yummy CEO Burger! 😀
BurgerFi Alpharetta is located at 5475 Windward Pkwy in lovely Alpharetta, Georgia.
Oh, and be sure to save room for dessert. The creamy Custard Concretes are heaven sent! You’ll thank me later. 😉
I was compensated a yummy meal in exchange for my opinion, however all drooling is my own. 😛

I love a good hamburger occasionally. I am sad that we don’t have a BurgerFi nearby because now I want one. The fries and onion rings look amazing too.
There’s a Burger Fi near us at Emory Point Village and we’ve enjoyed every yummy bite there.
