Chic Peek: Lane Bryant Fashion Style Off

Excuse my excitement, but I have wonderful news! Remember my visit to The Big Apple for Sonsi’s Blogger “Be-YOU-tiful” Pop-Up Party (Sonsi in the City & the Recap) during Full Figured Fashion Week last summer? I had such an amazing time mixing and mingling with all of the fabulous Sonsi brand reps during my trip, AND I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been selected to participate in a Fashion Style Off for one of Sonsi’s flagship brands, Lane Bryant. Yay!!! (Insert patter clapping) If you’re not familiar with the name Sonsi, you definitely know their brands. Let’s see, there’s Lane Bryant of course, Cacique, Catherine’s, Monif C, Kiyonna, IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel, Sealed With A Kiss Designs, and over 300+ brands that represent the largest assortment of full figured fashion for women. See why I’m so excited?!!!

For the Fashion Style Off, yours truly and several bloggers will each submit our best Lane Bryant styled looks to appear on Lane B’s Facebook page. And if that aint enough to get your Cacique’s in a bunch 😛 … we each received a $200 gift card to shop Lane Bryant’s fabulous collection. So here’s the skinny (no pun intended)… I absolutely LOVE shopping…AND with a $200 gift card in hand to shop with… Ok, someone pinch me please! So what did I get for the Fashion Style Off? Well, I took “full advantage” (pun intended) of Lane Bryant’s BOGO sale, and…wait for it… I scored 4 looks PLUS accessories! That’s right! A haute haul indeed!

So, for my first Lane Bryant look I chose this amazing Clip Dot Dress in a fabulous dynasty green shade (Lane Bryant SALE $69.99). The dress features a flattering high-low hem, exposed gold zipper back, a metallic skinny belt to accentuate the waistline, and a sexy cross front top that fit nicely. I paired it with these fab satin Asian motif-embroidered platform pumps from Aldo, and accessorized the ensemble with a Coiled Seed Bead Necklace (Lane Bryant $24.95), a Gold & Coral Statement Ring (Lane Bryant $19.95), 24 Row Gold Wire Bangle Bracelet ($24.95), and Gold Spike Chandelier Earrings (Lane Bryant $14.95). And, to play on the Clip Dot Dress design I sealed the “style deal” with a gorgeous crystal studded “gem-bag” by Charming Charlie.

Well lovelies, I can hardly contain my joy of being selected to participate in the Lane Bryant Fashion Style Off, and I can’t wait to head to the NYC next month for the Lane Bryant Blogger/Stylist Conference at Full Figured Fashion Week. Leading up to the conference I will be rocking several looks from my Lane Bryant shopping spree and I will also choose one style to wear during my trip so stay tuned.
