Feel Like Road Royalty in the 2016 Mazda CX-9

Finding an SUV that can handle my hectic lifestyle can be a challenge. From errands to events and everything in between, it can get pretty crazy at times. Besides, I have 3 teens that are VERY active. Needless to say my family demands a vehicle with loads of amenities and plenty of get-up-and-go… and, it MUST have plenty of style. Well, the ‘style’ part is mostly for me. 😉 Now, I’m not knocking those with simple point A-to-B needs, but I demand a different feel when I’m making my rounds. And, I think I’ve finally found my match.

Say hello to the absolutely gorgeous 2016 Mazda CX-9!

I had the awesome opportunity to take the Signature Edition for a test drive, and I felt like the queen of the road! Not only is the Mazda CX-9 smooth to drive, but it’s outfitted with all the luxury details you’d expect from a high-end vehicle. Sculpted aluminum, genuine wood trim, premium leather, all that’s missing is the premium price tag. But worry not because this bold beauty won’t break the budget at a mere $31,520 MSRP. Mazda even amped-up the generosity on the CX-9 with other features like Mazda CONNECT that makes staying informed and entertained effortless, cameras and sensors all around that use Mazda i-ACTIVSENSE which help to keep blinds spots in check, and Mazda’s signature KODO “Soul of Motion” design that keeps you in celebrity mode as you move around town.

Elegant and Efficient

Driving this chic three-row SUV was way too fun. It makes the thought of a cross-country road trip actually appealing.

I also learned that style is not the only thing this SUV ranks high with. It is also fantastic on gas mileage for a vehicle of its size. For combined city and highway driving, the car gets about 27 MPG–something I can definitely be on board with!

VIP Treatment

Just when I thought that the fun was over, I got to head over to the Mazda Experience to enjoy a little VIP treatment with the CX-9. I had the chance to take a behind-the-scenes look at what makes the Mazda CX-9 so special, and also take it for yet another spin. Of course I was more than happy to oblige. 😀

Even if you don’t know much about cars, you would enjoy this experience. A personal concierge took me through the process and told me what inspired each design decision behind this vehicle. I never realized how much thought went into it, but now I have a whole new appreciation for this stunning SUV!

It really seems like the 2016 Mazda CX-9 was designed for the driver with high expectations… like me! I fully appreciate that. If you’re looking for a showstopping SUV that make excursions a lot more stylish, you will love the 2016 Mazda CX-9.
