It’s the giving season! And even though I am a big proponent of giving back all year-round, I think it’s especially important to be generous during the holidays. Heck, I know plenty of us get stressed about money this time of year, so I can only imagine what it’s like for others who are not as fortunate as we are.
That’s why I’d like to introduce you guys to a brand new and easier way to help those in need.
Meet ReSupply.
It is a new app that allows you to schedule your donation of used goods and have them picked up directly from your doorstep! So smart, right?! And the best part of all: It’s sooo easy to use!
Have you ever cleaned out your closet, bagged up old items for donation, but then let them sit for way too long because you never got around to actually dropping them off at a donation center? I know I’m guilty!! Well, now that problem is solved!
Here’s how ReSupply works.
Download.
Go to iTunes or Google Play and download the ReSupply app.
Select.
Pick a local charity that supports a cause you’re passionate about.
Schedule.
Choose a date and time that works with your schedule.
Donate!
Place your donation on your doorstep and go about your day.
Oh… The app even generates a digital tax receipt for your donation! Yep, all those tax credit receipts you crumpled up and swore you’d hand over to your accountant—those are no longer your problem, either. ReSupply takes care of it for you, so you only have to focus on one thing… Giving.
Recently I had a chance to meet ReSupply Founder/CEO Paul Tocci during my annual #TisTheSeasonBrunch where he shared the inspiration behind ReSupply. Paul explained that during his time at West Point Academy there was a common issue that he noticed: Waste. He went further by stating that a majority of the items discarded would definitely benefit someone in need. Paul explained that “People want to give, it’s just that charitable giving can be very hard.” I can attest to that. Because my lifestyle can get hectic I don’t always have time to stop by a local charity to drop off my used goods. But with ReSuppy I can schedule a donation pickup at a time that works for me. So fab!
Another thing I love about this app is that it’s owned and operated by Army veterans. Paul stated that ReSupply also helps veterans by giving them jobs! Now that’s super cool! 😎 ReSupply recently launched in Atlanta, partnering with a host of local charities including Atlanta Step Up Society, Pavilion of Hope, Way Out, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Friends of Disabled Adults and Children, Shop the Edge, Second Life Upscale Resale, and Assistance League just to name a few.
During my #TisTheSeasonBrunch event, my guests brought toys that I’ll be donating to a local charity using the app. I’m so excited about this partnership, and I hope you all will download the ReSupply app and consider giving to others less fortunate than yourself.
Happy giving!

Wow – donating just got a lot easier! I love that the tax receipt is generated on the app as well. This is one app that I’m going to love. And I want have to keep loading my trunk with donations and forgetting to stop by my favorite charity.
Another new app I hadn’t heard about. We usually give locally not sure this would work for them. Something to check into.
I so need to get this app! I have things that I need to donate, and this would make it so much easier.
This is pretty simple and those donations are going to help a lot! It’s always important to give back and this makes it incredibly convenient.
ReSupply sounds like such an awesome app! I donate a lot throughout the year but I go into overdrive during the holidays. I feel like if donating were easier or more convenient, more people would make it a priority. I love that ReSupply makes things easier!
It’s so nice to hear that people are using their smarts to create these kind of apps that help so many people. I’m going to check into. Seems like it would make giving so easy.
Wow this is a really great app idea and owned by vets? perfection. I will have to check it out, as it’s the first I have even heard of resupply!
I hadn’t heard of this before but it sounds like a great concept. Last year I learned about what everyone thought was a donation bin for clothing, turns out everything is shredded. What a waste.
I’m going to download this. I have a bunch of donation stuff.
I never heard of this type of app but it seems like the perfect season to use this app. I love that it was created by Army Vets!
What a great idea for an app. I love anything that makes it easier to give back.
Now this sounds like an amazing app!! I did a major home cleanout right before fall and made 4 trips to the Goodwill to donate stuff, it was ridiculous!
What a great way to give back! One of my favorite charity organizations is one the list! Yaaaaaaayy! I’ll definitely use this app. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! What an amazing app! I absolutely love that it gives veterans jobs. I mean from start to finish this app helps everyone! Are there any cities that it doesn’t work in or does this work everywhere?
I am currenlty going through my house and purging and decluttering. This app sounds like a great way to schedule my donation pick up times.
A win,win for everyone! And seeing that it benefits charitys, that gives it even more pluses in Babushka’s eyes. Gracias for the info; BB2U.
What an incredible App, I am definitely guilty of pilling up items I want to give away but never have the time to drop them off at local charity. Hope this App does well and good to know Veterans are employed due to this App.
What an awesome app! We can organize a donation drive in our community and have the items picked up! That’s fantastic. Let me suggest this to our neighbors and see what we can come up with. Thanks for letting me know about ReSupply.
