Spring. It’s a simultaneously terrifying and wonderful season. Why? Because the days get warmer and men insist on bringing those horrible cargo shorts back out of the closet.
I’ve tried to rationalize it in my head for years. Is it the pocket space? Aren’t men stereotypically supposed to be the less high maintenance of the sexes, therefore needing to carry less around? We have already hit New York and London, and now the fashion world is off to Millan to see what designers have come up with for the Fall 2015 season. Some of our favorite designers having been preparing for months in order to put on the best show during these few weeks, and now we finally get to see what they have been hiding in their fashion houses all this time. We’ve seen some old trends popping up on the runways, such as fringe detailing and, of course, black and white. But, one trend that has seemed to have a heavy emphasis during fashion week is a throwback to the 1970’s.
