A celebration of all things Rosé? Yes, please—sign me up!
All of my pink wine-loving friends in Atlanta will be thrilled to hear that La Fête du Rosé is returning to Piedmont Park on Saturday, May 11, 2019. I attended the first-ever event along with 2,200 other guests, and I can’t wait to don my white and pink to this fabulous affair again!
If you need a refresher, here’s what to expect at the second La Fête du Rosé in Atlanta.
The Drinks
You can’t attend a rosé picnic without at least one glass of the pink wine! With the presenting sponsor being Moët & Chandon and VieVité as the official wine partner, you’ll get to sip signature offerings from Moët, plus VieVité’s Côtes de Provence Rosé, which was selected by Condé Nast Traveler as their must-try rosé for summer 2018.
All refreshments available will include rosé wine, champagne, frosé, and rosé cocktails, so you better come thirsty!
The Entertainment
Hosted by Krystal Garner, this year’s event features live music and DJs. Below are the scheduled musicians:
- Mannie Fresh
- DJ Stormy
- DJ Grace Lamour
- The Mad Violinist – Ashanti Floyd
- DJ Jay Envy
- Xeno Moonflower
You’ll also get to have fun with all kinds of on-site experiences from Moët & Chandon and VieVité such as giveaways, photo opps, games, and more.
The Food
Sink your teeth into picnic baskets of food curated by top chefs and restaurant groups. This year’s offerings include delicious rice bowls curated by Chef Davis and Chef Johnson. Each bowl was crafted to pair perfectly with the various wine and champagne options that will be available.
Additionally, treats such as cupcakes, cotton candy, snowballs, and popcorn will be available for purchase on-site.
The Attire
This is probably the best dress code ever—the mandatory attire for the event is pink and white. Feel free to get creative with your finest pink-and-white summer attire. Think Derby dresses, pastel suits, fabulous hats, and more!
The Date
La Fête du Rosé is returning to the ATL on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Piedmont Park (400 Park Dr NE in Atlanta, GA). Visit www.lafetedurose.com for more information and to purchase tickets. See you there!!!
