You guys must know by now that I am a total sucker for stylish vehicles that won’t break the bank and can fit the whole clan. After all, they’re not so easy to come by. Trying to shuttle around 3 very active teenagers along with attending events all over town; things can get pretty hectic. Sometimes you just need a ride that’s up to the task of an on-the-go lifestyle. Enter the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander 3.0 GT.
So when I was first introduced to this cute Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV), I had to pick my jaw up from off the floor. The 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander has been completely redesigned with a focus on style, comfort, and capability — there were over 100 improvements made to this vehicle! Not only is the design sleek, but it starts at just $22,955, gets 31 miles to the gallon on the highway (25 city, which is still amazing), and it can seat seven! Wait, you mean I can squeeze two extra bodies including my own squad of five? Say no more!!! Needless to say, I didn’t waste any time getting to test drive these wheels to see the improvements for myself.
One of my absolute favorite features of the Outlander GT was the touch screen navigation system. It made me feel totally pampered because it came with updates straight from The Weather Channel! Talk about convenience! I didn’t need to ask hubby whether or not I’d need an umbrella for the day because the Outlander 3.0 GT already had me covered. Literally! The nav system also impressed me with the closest fuel-ups right at my finger tips — no more fumbling around trying to ask Siri where I can get gas.
Of course, there are plenty of other swoon-worthy features like a 710-watt Rockford Fosgate® premium sound system complete with 9 speakers and a subwoofer. Car tunes are key to a great ride in my opinion. There’s nothing like cruising to classic 80’s tunes, and the SiriusXM® Satellite Radio was the perfect passenger to bring on the party. The Outlander GT also has comfy, heated, leather seats that’ll keep you warm on cold days, tons of cargo space with power liftgate for easy access, a glass sunroof to let a little lotta sun shine in, Super All-Wheel Control that can handle quick maneuvers on the road, and ECO-mode which helps you drive in a more environmentally-friendly fashion, something that will never go out of style!
I have to say, I’m a big fan of the fabulous redesign. The new 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander 3.0 GT drove very smoothly, and for the price, and it’s hard to be believe all those wonderful assets were part of the package. The style, comfort, and overall accommodations made it perfect for a diva on-the-go who sometimes has the kids (and hubby) in tow. 😉 They definitely had to pry this one out of my hands when my test-drive time was up!
Disclaimer: Mitsubishi Motors and Drive Shop USA provided me with a vehicle to test drive, however all opinions are my own.

This car looks so sleek and stylish! You make me want to go test drive the Outlander. My next vehicle will likely be an SUV so let me add this one to the list.
I’m actually testing this baby out this week! I’m loving it!
Outlander looks really spacious. Sleek and shiny! My kinda car! I know you all enjoyed it!
Loving all of the new body styles on the new Mistubishi cars. This one is really cute for a crossover. The price is fabulous. I’ll have to give one a try.
Wow what a nice car. Having room for everyone and space for bags doesn’t always leave room for a stylish car. I think the Outlander is on to something.
NIce looking car. I want a crossover for my next car. I want a sun roof like this one.
Wow these things have come a long way! I love crossovers I have one affectionately known as the B Wagon. I’m on my second one!
Oh my gosh! This car looks great! I would love to drive this. I think I would be all over the place.
I love love crossovers I am on my second one as well. Mitsubishi has come a long way from the Eclipse, which happened to be the first car I learned to drive!
I test drove the 2015 version of the outlander and it didn’t feel that spacious but I’m sure it’s because my sons car seat takes up hella space! Lol. You got some great pics though 🙂
That interior is beautiful. As someone that drives a 2002 vehicle, I can’t wait to upgrade and might have to consider the Outlander.
Wow this SUV is super spacious! Those sunnies are cute too.
That is one good looking car! And that gas mileage? Fantastic. I’m filling up a Suburban that might get half of that on a great day…
