Taylor Swift seems to be living the good life right now. She just released a new album that is blowing up the charts and has been spotted all around town in some of the cutest outfits of the season (can we seriously raid her closet?). Taylor was photographed in this look a few weeks ago as she strutted her stuff on the streets of New York. This outfit could not possibly emulate what fall and winter fashions means more. The comfy oversized poncho, with emerald pants, and a scarf to match just screams winter. She also threw in some muted elements such as her brown bag and boots, and of course rocked her staple red lip for a flirty pop.
Her poncho is really what grabbed my attention, so I searched and found it at TopShop. To my surprise, the poncho was not as expensive as I expected, and it could be something to squeeze into your winter wardrobe budget. It's super cozy looking, being slouchy and oversized, plus the warm colors just add even further. It would look great thrown over skinny jeans like Taylor has done here, or even some tights and high knee boots. I think this poncho is definitely a strong winter investment and a good way to be a little more trendy when dressing for sweater weather this season.
