Twirlin’ Around Town in the 2017 Mazda 6

You know I like to ride in style… and so do my girlfriends! That’s why when I had the opportunity to test drive the gorgeous and spacious 2017 Mazda 6 Grand Touring (MSRP $30,695), I knew I had to take my #bloggerbaes along for the ride. Hey, if you’re going to take a spin around town, you might as well take a few of your fab friends along with you, right?

Since this car is called the Grand Touring, I thought what better vehicle to take on a grand tour of some of my fave spots in Atlanta? So we set out for a Bloggers Day Out ATL adventure complete with stylish transportation, of course, and lots of flaunting this fab ride around town! Let me break down our adventure for you…

Big Fun Ahead!

While en route to our first stop, the girls and I could not stop raving about the luxurious seats in this car. Seriously, we felt so posh perched on the leather-trimmed seats. I hate to say it, but we almost didn’t want to get out of the car once we arrived at Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks! Of course, we were delighted to sneak in a few bites at Big Dave’s knowing our chic chariot would be waiting so patiently for us to return. 😀 Though we were going through minor vehicle withdrawals, we did snap out of it when we got to meet Derrick Hayes, the restaurant’s owner. Derrick shared his incredible journey to bring Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks to the ATL and, of course, we got to see why Big Dave’s is all the rave from here to Philly. Such an uh-mazing story, and the food was unbelievable! Let’s see… Great food and great company; what more could you ask for?!

Now it was back to the bae-mobile and off to another adventure!

Sweet Ride, Meet Sweet Treats

As we began the journey to destination #2, my girls and I began to feel for even more special in the Mazda 6. I certainly felt like a star surrounded by all the neat features like the MAZDA CONNECT™ Infotainment System that even features voice activated command. Hey, a diva can get used to that! The 2017 Mazda 6 Grand Touring even comes with an awesome navigation system, and a beautiful 7-inch color touchscreen display. You can even step up your social game and stay connected on-the-go thanks to the Mazda 6’s Bluetooth® hands-free phone and audio streaming system! Needless to say, I was loving this ride, and I know the ladies were too—I’m pretty sure I spotted some hands peeking through the sunroof! 🙂

When we arrived at stop #2, Bon Glaze, we were treated to their spankin-new shaved ice! A sweet ride AND sweet treats… Could this day get any better?! Hey, if you’re looking for something refreshing this summer, Bon Glaze’s shaved ice is the way to go. Not only is it super delicious, but it’s a cool way to kick the summer sun. It’s the perfect little summertime treat. And if you wanna turn things up a notch, try a cotton candy topping. You can thank me later. 😛

A Picture Perfect Pit Stop

Now you know we can’t do a Bloggers Day Out without sneaking in a few pics, so to the colorwalls we went! Stop #3 was all about the pose, and the colorwalls at the Shops at Buckhead made the perfect pit stop to snap a few fun pics (we bloggers just can’t say no to a pretty wall!) 😉 And our chic chauffeur got us there in style for our date with destiny. LOL! The 2017 Mazda 6 has bling in all he right places, from the posh leather-trimmed seats, to the sleek 19″ wheels, you’ll definitely do the day in style. And the Bose® Centerpoint® Surround Sound Audio System and SiriusXM Satellite Radio will keep the tunes comin in the event a car karaoke battle breaks out. Hey, you gotta always be ready! 🙂

Cruisin’ in Total Control

Even though we’d been adventurin’ around town all day, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the gas gauge hardly moved. Turns out, the 2017 Mazda 6 GT gets a glorious 35 miles to the gallon! Not only that, but I was hitting turns so smoothly that my blogger bae’s didn’t yell at me once for bad driving! (A new record, for sure.) Maybe it was because of the Mazda 6’s Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) & Traction Control System (TCS)… Hey, I won’t say anything if you don’t. 😉

We coasted into the last stop of our day and landed at Grub Burger Bar. Yum-my! The folks at GBB gave us a sampling of some of their tasty new menu items, like this in-credible Roasted Buffalo Cauliflower that was topped with bleu cheese and coated in their special sauce. *Clutches pearls… OMG it was sooo delish! And of course we just had to tray a few of GBB’s sassy sips to help toast to a fabulously fun day. It was the perfect ending!

Bye, Bye, Bae-Mobile

Even though I enjoyed every single moment of our #BloggersDayOutATL, when it was all said and done, I was so sad that I would soon have to part ways with the bae-mobile. I felt like this car had everything I needed: style, safety, and those extra special touches that are hard to find in other vehicles. The 2017 Mazda 6 Grand Touring not only made our own grand tour a day to remember, but it also reminded me that you should always feel like a star when you do the day. 🙂 Huge hugs to my blogger bae’s, @CodySassyJazzy, @IamPriiincesss, and @SocialitebyNite, for making #BloggersDayOutATL a fabulous affair!
